The one in roaming (C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>) is the main profile folder.
The other in local (C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>) is used for storing the cache and doesn’t need to be backed up.
Die Profile (inkl. der Angabe, welches das aktuelle Standard-Profile ist) kann in Firefox über about:profiles ausgelesen werden.
Hinweis: Für Firefox ESR wird ein eigenes Profil erstellt.
